pg_wait_sampling
Repository:
https://github.com/postgrespro/pg_wait_sampling
The wait event sampling mechanism collects detailed statistics on wait events occurring within the database, allowing for fine-grained analysis of system activity and performance bottlenecks by capturing wait events at regular intervals and storing them in a dedicated table for later analysis.
