Title: EraDB: Designing Systems For Cardinality And Dimensionality

EraDB is a distributed database designed for petabyte-scale, schemaless data that leverages cloud-native object storage for global persistence. In this talk, Todd will discuss the historical origins of EraDB and delve into how it is designed to handle high-cardinality and high-dimensionality data within a flexible, horizontally-scalable architecture.

Bio:
Todd Persen is the CEO and co-founder of EraDB. He was previously CTO and co-founder at InfluxData, creators of the InfluxDB time-series database as well as a Sr. Principal Software Engineer at Pivotal, where he helped build an observability data platform for the Cloud Foundry PaaS. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and an M.B.A. from the University of Florida.
